It's not what I expected from the team at all, or Miyamoto, I certainly don't see this as, "Miyamoto's next masterpiece", I think that statement is utter BS from Nintendo/Cammie.

This game looks like it would have taken very little time in development, and I am not keen on it at all. I hated the DS game, I thought it had terrible level design and was made for little kids, I expect this game will be exactly the same seeing as though the Kyoto team are making it again...

Not impressed by this at all, it seems like a cheap fix they began working on as soon as last years e3 hit home.

I can pretty much guarantee I won't be picking this game up. A number of people have brought up a potential problem with playing those levels (which are built for four players) as a one-player game. I played some of the game at PAX, and the game just didn't have the same charm as NSMB for the DS, or even the 3D marios like 64 (which I didn't like much either) That's not to say it won't be good, but I doubt it will be for me.

I thought the prospect of side scrolling four swords was what enticed you earlier. Now the single player not being as fine tuned is the deal breaker? Just asking, if the single player ends up bad I also won't be buying it, but I doubt that's going to be the case, unless there's a set of 4-player only/focused modes. Waiting for the facts of course, plenty of other games to get until then...

I said that before I had played it myself. I guess I value the single player Mario more than I thought.
