If World of Warcraft moved like this, I'd probably still play it:

That's a pretty cool little clip that probably took hundreds of hours to actually make. Since nothing in World of Warcraft moves that fluidly, I'm guessing the creator ripped the models and environments out of the game files and imported them into something else. There I go, trying to use my tiny brain to think all technical-like again. Maybe I should just leave it at GOOD VIDEO LOOKS GOOD.

And before you say it, the guy that made it--going by "percula" on Vimeo--already seems to be keenly aware that the music is kind of... bad.
About the music, it wasn't something I choose at random but an element that I consider to be just as important as the models, lighting, animations,...etc. It was the driving force for the pace and the inspiration for the story. With the feedback I've gotten consider your voices heard and it'll be something I take into account in the future. I still think I made the right decision and it's not something I'm going to go back and change so lets agree that we disagree. :)
Maybe if he was making some sort of epic Michael Jackson-like video where people were dance fighting, that song might fit a bit better.

Unfortunately I am at work and without speakers. What song is playing for this video?

Seriously, what's the point of saying "first"? It doesn't matter at all. >_>

Anyway, my sound set just died, so I can't listen to the vid. Which sucks.

You start that video, turn the volume all the way down so it's muted, and then you pause it at 15 seconds. Now turn on that YouTube video below it, don't watch it - it's just for audio, and immediately press play on that paused MMO video and it makes it way better.

That was really good, even though it clearly wasn't made in-game.

If the game models rally moved like that though.. wow.. that would be something. But I recognize, that is just too much.

wtf the music to that vid was totally pointless, why not just use ambient sounds instead of music. :O

Biff, I actually just did that with the two videos....lol.  It looks like it may work together with the two, how funny.  Still, the music from the original is really bad.

Is it true? Are you actually posting something about Machinima? You?

LOVED the video, but the music was so tiring that I turned it off less than 1 minute in. I was perplexed.. But, then I realized something.

Most "directors" use temp tracks when filming and editing to portray the energy in a video. I think this video suffers from the director choosing the music based on the music that motivated them while making the video, or was inspired by the video for the music. Either way, I would simply suggest getting someone else to do the music, the audience has replied. That sound is terrible.

On the plus side, this is probably the best machima (sp) that I have seen since the Master Chief / Samus battle, if not better. Great job

I sometimes feel like I'm the only person who roots for the common guards in situations like this :P

And that music better not be stuck in my head or I'm going to have to call Oliver Sacks.

The music just ruined it for me. Well done though.

I expected this to be about the poorly animated KOTOR MMO.

Well done animation, but seriously, this is boring.
