Would you trust these turtles with your children?
Look, the idea of Rocksteady Studios applying their expertise to a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game remains a really great good idea. I mean, hell, the series has a character named Rocksteady.
Besides the fact that it doesn’t make any sense given how the licensing works out, it appears another company is already in cahoots with the turtles: Activision.
TMNT fansite Ninja Pizza (which is a really great name for a TMNT fansite, by the way) went through a series of photos taken by ToyArk from the ongoing Toy Fair in New York and noticed Activision was mentioned as a partner for TMNT in 2012.
In my dreams, though, Rocksteady is still making that game.
Yeah, at least they got the name to back it. But when was TMNT last popular?..

Wait, when did Activision get the TMNT game rights? Last I heard, Ubisoft had them.

Mildly interested but it's going to take a pretty solid game to get me to come back after the disappointment of how TMNT ReShelled turned out. Hopefully Activision can do better.
In the meantime I'll just keep bumpin' this song by the TMNT band.

If Rocksteady woulda made a TMNT game it would have just been a reskinned Arkham game. Boooring!
So I am a sucker for TMNT-related properties, being a child growing up during the age of 90's cartoons....
Bummer. Rocksteady seemed like a pretty solid fit.
Give it to Raven? They go up and down but there is potential there.
