Arkham Asylum Demo Out 8/7, Plus New Trailer

Prepare to fight a limited amount of crime in Gotham City this Friday.

Eidos sends word that its slick-looking new Batman game Arkham Asylum will get a demo version releasing on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, and PC this Friday the 7th. That seems like a smart move; while everything we've seen of the game so far looks hot, you just never know about these licensed games until you actually get your hands on them. I'm certainly optimistic that Arkham is going to be cool, but it's still nice to try before you buy, no?

Nice. I will be downloading both demo's to help me make my choice on which to opt for, Being an Unreal 3 game I'm inclined to go for either the 360 or PC.

I've played through some of the free style combat already. It is solid if a bit button-mashy. The combat is all timing based around attacking and countering. Overall fun stuff. I'm looking forward to this demo though. It is supposed to include some content from the stealth sections of the game.

@Linkyshinks: I'll be picking it up on PS3. The exclusive Joker level is too good to pass up.

I can't download the demo thanks to me not having an Xbox live connection. So, I will have to rely on reviews before I purchase.
