Don't listen to our podcast through AudioSurf. It'll just make you crazy.
Saw over on Shacknews that AudioSurf is on sale via Steam this week for $2.49. That's cheap. That's, like, completely ridiculous. AudioSurf is easily worth four times that much, which is what it normally sells for. That is a steal, people.

If you don't currently own AudioSurf, you should. It's a cool music-themed game that lets you import your own MP3s. The game then generates levels based on your music.

Apparently the sale is due to the latest addition to the Steam service... a shopping cart. Now you can buy multiple games from Steam without having to enter your credit card each time you buy. That means you could also buy a hot game like World of Goo at the same time, if that's your thing. Shopping carts! The future of Internet commerce is here!

What is this exactly? Does it make rhythm games or platformers or what?

Wow! And I thought I had stolen the game when I bought it a few months back for $5. Great game. EASILY worth $2.49.

They should sell it "on a disc".

I love this game. I wanted to play something epic on it like March Into the Sea by Pelican (which is just over 20 minutes) but it told me it was too long... Oh well. Get it!

@chililili: It's kinda like Guitar Hero Racing. The game generates tracks based on info(tempo, volume, etc.) from any mp3 you give it. It's fun.

It's a color-matching puzzle game similar to Klax with a few power-ups, but the blocks come down in time with the music. Amazing game, they should make it for the iPhone!

I already own Audiosurf, but if I didn't, I would be buying it at this point. :P Listening to the Bombcast through it certainly would be interesting.

I've tried listening to the bombcast with Audiosurf before. I had to trim it because it went too long.

I just purchased it. What a steal. I've been waiting for a sale on Audiosurf, but totally wasn't expecting a markdown like this.
