Criterion posted up some new details and shots of the rest of the Legendary Cars pack for Burnout Paradise. The team previously revealed the Jansen 88 Special, an obvious homage to the Delorean from Back to the Future. This led people to wonder if the other three cars would be similarly inspired. Well... yeah, they are.
The Hunter Manhattan Spirit is, essentially, Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters. The Carson Nighthawk has a decidedly KITT-like look to it, and the Hunter Cavalry Bootlegger is a Mexican-themed take on the General Lee. As noted on the Criterion blog, the car is "also available in orange." Additionally, the Bootlegger will have a horn--which will probably make it the only car in Burnout Paradise to sound off. Perfect for big jumps, I'm guessing. [ED NOTE: I will bet cash money that horn plays "La Cucaracha." -Ryan]

In addition to the new rides, the company opened up a merchandise store on one of those "send us your art, we'll put it on everything" stores. I'm way into the Paradise Petroleum shirt, as well as the Super Jump logo. Pretty cool stuff. But for the record, we recommend sticking to genuine Giant Bomb merchandise. Accept no substitutes!

That Kitt looks ok, but nowhere near close enough to the original. I'm disappointed.
A General Lee knockoff? Yeehaw! Them boys in Paradise got themselves in a mess o' trouble. Like ants in molasses - and that's pretty thick molasses!
At least with the Carson Nighthawk, it will make sense that there isn't a driver.
If I played Burnout Paradise, I would be all over this shit. How over? All over. I really should get that game one of these days...
Those cars look awesome, can't wait for this DLC to be released.

I'll say this again! No matter what concole you have(mind not the wii) These guys gives you the best of the best!! I'v never seen such a dedication for a game. Thank you, and as a thank you i will play this game until i drop. Love Burnout Paradis!!

You can already make the General Lee and K.I.T.T. with the Vinyl Editor on Midnight Club: Los Angeles without paying for this DLC.
It'd be awesome when you boost with the Kitt if the flap come out a la turbo boost mode.
The kitt lookalike is better than the "new Kitt ", that mustang is a monstrosity that reminds me of 'Corvette Summer' !
