Call of Duty Map Pack In March

"Nightfire"

Treyarch and Activision have confirmed the existence of "Map Pack #1," a collection of four new maps for Call of Duty: World at War. The pack will come to 360, PS3, and PC in March.

Three of the maps are for the standard multiplayer mode, and they fit the following basic descriptions:

Nightfire - Berlin, dark streets
Knee Deep - lush Pacific jungle
Station - bombed-out subway platform

The fourth map is called Verrückt, and it's an additional map for the game's Nazi Zombie mode. It will contain additional weapons and a "Perks-a-Cola" machine that you can use to purchase multiplayer perks to help fight off the never-ending zombie swarm.

Also note that it's called "Map Pack 1." You don't name something "1" unless you're thinking about a "2." And that's one to grow on!

Is it correct that the PC version shipped with a 2nd Nazi Zombies level that the 360 didn't get? (I heard this from an un-reliable source)
Don't tell me that this is it and they want us to pay for it seperately now.....

in my opinion, having to pay money for a couple of new maps after a game is released for a month or so is a rip off. its sad to see that this is a continuing trend and we will prob see more of this in the future.

They should add a scenario where you play as Finnish ski troops,repelling the Soviet attack on the Mannerheim Line,that seriously would be freakin awesome!

Yeah, I heard they were bringing that map to Xbox Live for free. It's not just in the day time, the tides are also different so the map is a little larger.

I agree. Watched a documentary with my dad on that war over the Christmas break. My grandfather was in that war as they are Finnish. That's where the Molotov Cocktail was invented. Very Interesting. :)

Four maps for roughly $10 is a scam. What happened to the days when additional maps were released for F-R-E-E? In fairness, at least some companies still do this.

i am proud to say that i posted this first..that is said tounge-in-cheek of course.

As i stated in my blog, i think that i will buy this concidering I have kept WAW out from gamefly(i have the 2 game option so i keep one for multi) and continue to go back to it, and cant imagine sending it back any time soon.

I'll definitely be getting this. My roommate and I play Nazi Zombies at least once a day, and have gotten to round 25, so we keep tryin' to beat our own record. This will add some variety at least. Not too interested in the new multiplayer maps though, as I don't play online much (I'm too good, it's just not fair to everyone else).

Anyone hoping they add something like Nazi Zombies to Modern Warfare 2?

New Map for Nazi Zombies? Thats an instant buy for me. Nazi Zombies IS the best thing about CoD WaW.

I love WAW but lately I've been wanting to play COD4 but I can't cause I got rid of it :(
