While it's still technically being classified as an open beta, Sony has announced that PlayStation Home will be available to all users as of tomorrow, December 11. Jack Buser, the director of PlayStation Home, also took some time go over some new features to be found in the PS3's new virtual world.

The new stuff includes a four-player minigame called Saucer Pop, where avatars get into UFOs and fly up to pop bubbles while avoiding bombs. The jukebox feature works on a voting system and all players will hear the song that gets the most votes.

Buser's communique also talks about what still seems like the driving factor behind PlayStation Home: product placement and branding. Activision, Disney, Eidos, EA, LucasArts, THQ, Ubisoft, Sony Pictures, Paramount, Red Bull, Ligne Roset, and Diesel are all going to be a part of Home. Some of this stuff has already surfaced in the form of Diesel clothing stores and spaces devoted to specific games.

The Red Bull area will feature an air race game. Here's some video of that in action:

It's going to be very interesting to see how the world reacts to PlayStation Home tomorrow.
