Reggie ends it. My thoughts? Metroid looks OK and obviously there's gonna be a lot of great stuff coming out for the DS. But I really can't get too excited about the Motion Plus when all I've seen use it are Red Steel 2 and a bunch of Mini-games. Nintendo definitely is focusing a lot more on increasing their sales by tapping into would be gamers. In the end I'm worried they're alienating their core audience. Then again, I guess I haven't been the core audience for Nintendo in years.

Games are big business. Iwata proves it. This isn't about making games for gamers. This is about opening up Nintendo's market to more people. It's hard to disagree with his points, but still there's a large amount of core gamers that watch this stuff and feel insulted. It's like they don't like the awkard kid in the basement as their audience.
