Bow Wow: stick to driving movies.
Jayceon, seen here in his "let's play Madden" hat.
In what can only be seen as further proof that the beef-filled world of hip-hop and the world of video game message board trash talking are, indeed,
the same thing, we've got a
Madden battle on our hands between The Game and Lil' Bow Wow.
Oh, I guess he's just Bow Wow now that he isn't that "Lil'" anymore. Anyway, MTV has a story on the rivalry between the two, which will culminate in a game of Madden NFL 09 on Friday. The winner will take $100,000 off of the loser, as well as whatever bragging rights come with beating a celebrity dude at a football game.
MTV has the full story.
MTV's Stephen Totilo also did a little digging on the Madden leaderboards and found that The Game is currently #6 in the world on the PlayStation 3 with 171 wins. His account name is apparently "L-A-X."
Bow Wow freestyled over a Game track and called it "Madden King." You know, at some point even thinking about this just makes me sad. Bow Wow obviously topped out with his not-quite-award-winning performance in The Fast & The Furious: Tokyo Drift. And have you heard The Game's most recent release? I really liked the guy's first two albums, but this one is straight garbage. Maybe these dudes should play a little less Madden and spend a little more time in the studio or something?
Just sayin'.

huh, now that I know his PSN ID, I'll have to send him a game challenge. It'll be funny to tell people I was owned by The Game. I can just imagine the conversations.

Anyone with the name prefix "Lil'" is incapable of gaining any credibility, period.

Besides, as MasterSplinter made note, El-P and other artists from Definitive Jux wipe the floor with acts like Bow Wow.
