The old man himself is making his way to the Xbox 360,.
John Schappert, Microsoft's Corporate Vice President of Xbox Live, Services and Software, gave a keynote address here at the Tokyo Game Show this year and used his time to announce new Xbox 360 releases and give more details on the future of the platform. Here's a recap of the details:

- Star Ocean: The Last Hope will be released on March 3 in North America.
- Halo Wars was shown and a release timeframe of "early next year" was given.
- Bungie's Halo 3 add-on/expansion/new game/whatever was given a full name of Halo 3: Recon and a release window of Fall 2009.
Newly Announced on 360:
- Ninety-Nine Nights 2
- Tekken 6
Newly Announced for Xbox Live Arcade:
- Space Invaders Extreme
- Arkanoid
- Metal Slug 7
- The King of Fighters '98: Ultimate Match

So...I'm confused...Is the Halo 3: Recon the squad based shooter?
I know Jeff said that it is the Halo 3 expansion.....but why the hell would you name something "Recon" that is an expansion of an existing game and then come up with a new IP that is tactical in nature and give it another name?
Just seems a really dumb title.
