Pandemic Shutdown Leads to Office Space Tribute

If there was a TV channel called "men beating office equipment," I'd DVR every minute.

The one good thing about layoffs is that it sometimes gives people the motivation to get out there and do something great, if only to spite their former employers. OK, that's probably not much of a silver lining, but it appears that a few "affected" guys from last week's deep cuts at Pandemic didn't wait too long to make something great.

So here's their tribute to Office Space, in which a printer is beaten into submission while tracks from the Geto Boys are played.

Hopefully the next thing they come up with will lead to a paycheck. Best of luck, fellas.  Meanwhile, the studio's final game, The Saboteur, is still on track to ship next month.

Best of luck dudes.  It's always a shame to see developers shutting down but what makes it worse is that, having played The Saboteur I can confirm it's bad assery.
EndrzGameon Nov. 23, 2009 at 11:16 a.m.
It really is too bad for the studio being dissolved. The Battle Front games were among my favorite games last generation and would probably hold up pretty well today.
Best of luck fellas! With your talent I'm sure you guys will land on your feet somewhere.
EndlessMikeon Nov. 23, 2009 at 11:26 a.m.
This is why Office Space is my all time favorite movie
