This komes kourtesy of Mortal Kombat ko-kreator Ed Boon. According to the tweet this accompanied, what you're looking at is the stop-motion rig used to capture the various frames of animation used for Goro in the original Mortal Kombat. It's pretty incredible to realize just how teensy that model was, as well as how much the game development process has changed since then.

It keeps moving dammit, "put tape on it". The light's not high enough, "books and that cookie jar thing... do it... tape it down".

Look at that, just look at it, doesn't that deserve to be in some kind of a Museum of Games?

Time is moving rapidly people and we got to do something to preserve our gaming past.
