Giant Bomb Video Game News

Video Game News, Stories and Updates for the PS3, XBOX 360, PC, PSP, Wii, and DS

Added by Jeff Gerstmann on Sept. 16, 2008

OK, it's been fun, but Giant Bomb is officially closed for business. There's really no point to us reviewing games because we've been give the Gas Face by the new face of video game coverage, Soulja Boy Tell 'Em.

I used to think that our videos were a handy mash of information and entertainment. But our entire existence is worthless when compared to Soulja Boy's review of indie darling, Braid. Or as this video's description calls it, "some funny ass game I found on Xbox Live."

Expect to see similar Gone Fishing or Out of Business announcements from every other gaming publication over the next 48 hours. We just can't compete with this sort of depth and insight. Sorry.

Look for my new Internet venture, jeffgerstmannshowsyouhowtopumpgas.com in the near future.

Doesn't Soulja Boy like, owe YouTube some sort of royalties for his crap career? I'm waiting for Jigga to fire back a rebuttal telling Tell 'Em what a waste of life he is. (Again.) Right before he proceeds to review Boom Blox.

OK, reality check time. Can anyone tell me if any of this is actually happening? I've got a loose grip on reality after hearing about this upcoming 2D digitized fighting game.
