When I turn on TNT, it's because they're showing six straight hours of Law & Order, preferably the Jerry Orbach stuff. That's the good stuff. But apparently they also show basketball? Anyway, for some reason Activision has decided to show off a little Modern Warfare 2 during TNT's coverage of the NBA finals. Specifically, it's going to run on May 24 during the Eastern Conference Finals.
Destructoid posted the following teaser video for the upcoming teaser video:
Maybe Activision saw the Nate Robinson Call of Duty salute he pulled back in January and saw synergy written all over it?

Yo dawg, I heard you liked teasers, so I made a teaser for a teaser that will tease an upcoming teaser.
Thats not just a bit strange, but by the looks of it you can expect snow and underwater sequences, oh heck.
Looks cool... what's with modern combat and snow? I mean, Bad Company 2 and now Modern Warfare 2? Do I hear a crossover!?
If you frame-by-frame this thing, it sort of looks bad. Look at the backgrounds, especially in the snow sequences. Those trees... yeah.
They didn't have enough for the budget to include SpeedTree so they could only render low-res trees.
Doesn't seem so strange to me, it's the main demographic they want to sell the game to. Of course, maybe not many people watch sports on there, I'm from a different country so I have no idea.

Ah, a teaser for a teaser. I think I may be the only one who didn't like what they saw from this. Vehicle sequences are unnecessary. That doesn't lower my expectations for the actual game, however.
I think FPS games as you know them (COD4, Halo 3) have had their day, Killzone 2 pretty much finished the book on that type of fps.
I'm hoping this does something new, not just capitalize on the success of the first MW.
