Or maybe this lady could come up every few hours and say "please insert the next disc!"
Or maybe this lady could come up every few hours and say "please insert the next disc!"
IGN has the goods on a TGS-related report on multiplatform trends from a Japanese investment research company called Morningstar. Apparently some Konami public relationist was asked about Metal Gear Solid 4 on the Xbox 360, and this person is quoted with "we're actively looking into a release for the Xbox 360."

So consider the whole MGS4/360 rumor thing back on, I guess.

IGN goes on to talk about the hurdles in putting the large Blu-Ray game onto several Xbox 360 discs. Perhaps everyone has forgotten that as of 11/19, we'll all be able to install Xbox 360 games to our 360's hard drive. While slapping a fat "requires 60GB or 120GB hard drive" logo on the back of the box would probably deter a lot of people, it would solve the problem. That said, a disc swap at every act or so wouldn't be that punishing, either.

Well, I would be really happy but I am getting a PS3 for Christmas so I can get it the way actually intended.

Come on man - this is just as bad as the "they are making a gears game for ps3 rumours" That appear every 15 minutes, but no-one runs with those, just leave it be
We can do without another " We hate final fantasy Its shite" to "OMG WE FINALLY GET IT" Turnaround.

A lot of people on this website could do without eating their hats too

honestly, what PS3 owner cares where MGS 4 goes as of now.... the has been out for months, if it reaches out for a wider audience, good for it... it deserves as many players as possible....
3rd party exclusives are so dumb these days

I think Payton left Kojima for this kind of stuff. He always got quoted for anything that could "prove" MGS4 on 360.

I personally don't have any qualms against it, and would actually pick up an arcade unit to see all the changes in content they had to make because, seriously, all these non-Microsoft  companies (like Apple and Sony obviously) have so much advertising within the game and the fact that the game emulates a section of the PS1 version natively, I seriously wanna see how this all goes down.

I do suppose they can change some of the computers and the ipod to windows and Zune and whatnot, but how do you emulate a Zune with the right stick effectively? Also, I heard Kojima was an Apple fanboy, can anyone confirm this?

Hmm. I wouldn't mind watching this game.  I was going to purchase a PS3 for FF13.  MGS4 on the 360 would just be a bonus for me.

I don't mind swapping discs. It's not a big deal. But the new Dashboard could fix the problem with us being able to install games to the hard drive, just like you said in the article.

I sure as hell hope this happens. Now all we need is God of War 3 and Little Big Planet to come to the 360 and I won't need to buy a PS3! :P

Say, by the way, where did you ever get the inspiration for a motostorm sack boy? So original.
