Yep, Rockstar Games is Still Working on Agent

Do you want more details? You're not going to get them.

Rockstar Games is a notoriously secretive developer. When Sony announced the company was working on a PlayStation 3 exclusive called Agent at its E3 press conference in 2009, one might have expected there would be more details about Agent coming sometime after that.

You know, or not.

On a financial call today, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick was asked if Agent and Max Payne 3 were still coming. We've seen screen shots of Max Payne 3 recently, but that's not the case with Agent.

"Max Payne 3 and Agent are still in development," said Zelnick.

He didn't elaborate beyond that, as you might expect. So...there's that.

You're probably thinking of The Agency

So, what is this again? *checks wiki link*... a spy game set in the 70s. Well alright then.

Hah, I remember the hotel room podcast of E3 where jeff said the game looked promising.

Now, well.....it is a rockstar game so that means something right?
HairyMike87on May 24, 2011 at 2:34 p.m.
How about instead of reporting on news that has no news just to have something on a game, why not just wait until there are concrete details about the subject or something to show. It's getting harder to want to read some of the stories posted on here now because they don't have anything important or newsworthy to me.
SteamPunkJinon May 24, 2011 at 2:37 p.m.
So when do they buckle and admit it's going multiplatform?
I honestly don't see why any 3rd party Dev would make an exclusive in this day and age.

I see a frightening amount of people mix those two games up, and it bothers me that I don't understand why!
Chris2KLeeon May 24, 2011 at 2:37 p.m.
Wow, totally forgot about Agent.
MisterMouseon May 24, 2011 at 2:37 p.m.
Awesome it is cool to see that that is still being worked on and hopefully wont be cancelled.
Goopynoseon May 24, 2011 at 2:38 p.m.
Could this PS3 Agent title be something along the lines of Heavy Rain? That would be neat....but I kind of doubt it.

I was hoping it would be like a Hitman meets Heavy Rain
