    I still occasionally hook up the old sega or snes to play this game. its still mad fun to play small tournaments with your buddies. such a classic.

    This post is incorrect. Everyone knows NHL 96 is the best of the 16-bit NHL games.

    no but seriously, its still a game that is more fun than most of the stuff out there.  
     
    i say make it HD and release it on PSN and XBL!!! 
     
    they should do it with alllll the sports titles for the 16-bit era
