NHL Hitz Pro introduces 5-on-5 hockey and full rules to the arcade franchise, resulting in a blend of fast, hard-hitting hockey with a large variety of gameplay modes.

NHL Hitz Pro was developed by Next Level Games, Incorporated and Published by Midway Games. This is 5 on 5 hockey at its best. NHL Hitz Pro is for the Gamecube, Playstation 2 and Xbox.

The gameplay is simple, pass, shoot, stickcheck(steal), but most importantly, body check! That IS why the game is called NHL Hitz, you were meant to hit each other! You can even send them flying through the glass if you hit 'em near the boards, then pause and replay just for kicks. If you rub an opponent the wrong way, you may get into a fight causing you to button mash with certain precision to beat the crap outta him. Jolly old fun right? YOu can adjust the rules to your personal preference, no penalties, no icing, ect. and stuff like that.

You can play in a few different modes, one being Career, where you play as the team of your choice throughout their season. You can trade players and even make custom ones, and choose their specializations and everything. Franchise lets you start your own team and basically work up to the big cheeze. There's also, of course, a quickplay game where you can easily challenge your friends or the computer without starting a whole career.

NHL Hitz Pro is a whole lot of violent hockey goodness and if you get it, all I have to say is prepare to see a lot of helmets on the ground(seriously, they fall off!)
