I'm actually curious to what you guys named your familiar. Im a person whos addicted to naming like n FF10,naming aeons.

Here's mine: Mite - Finn,Bonehead - Sir Daniel,Purrloiner - Purcy.Guess which each one reps,Purcy is from a book

Finn is from Adventure Time, Mr. Daniel is from Amnesia? Don't know about Purcy.

Anyway, I'm naming my familiars after Archer characters. I have Archer, Lana, and Barry so far. I chose Barry because it was a familiar I didn't really want, but had to choose.

That was a pretty mean thing to do, wasn't it other Barry?

@Aegon: I totally do, but I'm early enough in the game that I haven't found a familiar deserving of the name.

@Demoskinos: Yea, i got him tonight and was cycling through the names when i got that. For the most part i'v used the preselected random names and liked them, i have been serenading a lot of familiars so i dont feel like naming them all. Boss Hog is the best i'v seen so far tho i wish he wore a white hat to go with the name.

I named Mite Mr. Fister. I was gonna rename the little fairy dude, bit Sid is already a pretty sick name.

I have been giving them all one of the preset names given, they have so far been pretty good, the first one you get though I named Hizang.

So far, I've been either naming them very idiotically, or in a very unoriginal manner.

my Thumbelemur is named Poop, because that seemed logical at the time, and my Seed Sprite is named Navi.

I'm only at 6:30 hours in, and just got Esther to join my party, so I'm sure we'll be seeing even more unoriginal crap come out of me down the line.

I'm like 16 hours in the game,I had to grind for one hour and took me 50 mins to kill one boss because whenever he had literally a little bit HP Left,just a couple more hits and he's out,I'd panic and let him attack me,which when you get down gives him an opportunity to attack you again...

On the other hand I usually do the random name selection and just name it the first three letters of their name. Like for example Rabbot,I'd call it Rab.

I named the first three after my cats, Daxter, Gizmo and Jinkies. Which name do you think guys think I named each?

I just used the auto naming tool for them all. Most of them seemed to fit pretty well.

I dislike naming my Bonehead Boney or Tin man Tinny..

They've got some good pun-filled suggestions too if you cycle through the "reccomended names"

Yeah, that is what I was doing. Never went with the first one. It is always the second or third option I went with. Like calling the Major Byrd, Major Tom.

@TohruAdachi: If you hit triangle it will cycle through three to five names for each one.

Eh I was pretty childish about my names. Picked stuff completely stupid off the top of my head like CockWacker, Titsmacker, Dickfingers, Therapist.

I'm naming my familiars after characters from Toy Story, I still have no clue why. But then I got lazy and now I just go with the recommended names, unless I worked really hard to capture a familiar.

Mr. Sword. Mr. Monkey. Mr. Fairy. Mr. Loon.

Most of the default Familiar name options are pretty hilarious.So I've stuck with those.

"Tyke Mison" made me laugh so hard I hit accept immediately.

I have just been going with the default names because I won't rename my Pokemon so not going to do it with familiars

usually go with the name the game comes up with, they are usually pretty clever.

Took me awhile to get what it meant and than I laughed when I got it. Mike Tyson :P
