NightSky

NightSky is a physics based puzzle/platform game for the Wii, 3DS, and PC in which you interact with the world via a ball.

Concepts

2D

Sure, these days have almost every game sporting the newfangled 3D, but way back when, everyone had to live with plain old 2D. 2D, or two dimensions, limit the game to scrolling backgrounds, but some games even now make use of this basic concept.
Chipmunk Physics

Chipmunk Physics is a 2D physics library created by Howling Moon Software.
Credits Menu Option

Why wait until you've beaten the game to find out who made it? These games let you see the credits without ever having to play the game.
Humble Bundle

An ongoing series of charity sales where consumers pay whatever amount they want for a bundle of games, often from indie developers.
Indie Royale

Indie Royale sells bundles of independent games for cheaper than they would cost purchased separately. Purchasers can choose to pay more than the current minimum to lower the minimum price for others.

Some games feature end credits that scroll over a playable segment of action.
Motion Control

Puzzle Platformer

Puzzle platformers are platform games where the key aspect involves solving riddles and puzzles, rather than combat.
Puzzles

Puzzles may need to be solved before the player can progress to the next section of the game. Often it may not be clear to players exactly what the puzzle is, or whether the an in-game items needs to be attained before it is even possible to solve it.
Silhouetted 2D

Having the main protagonist(s) and foreground appear only as silhouettes against an often colourful background has become a popular art aesthetic for 2D games in the last few years.
