Nina Williams

Nina Williams is a character from the Tekken Series. Nina also appears in Death by Degrees.

Born and raised in Ireland with her sister, Anna Williams. Both girls were thought the art of asssasination from a young age, under their father, Richard Williams. The sisters loved their father, battling for his attention. This started a sibling rivalry that has yet to end.

Nina is a assassin from the Tekken series who generally enters the tournaments to get closer to a target and to face her rival and sister, Anna. In the first king of the iron fist tournament, she entered to kill Heihachi MIshima but failed.

Before Tekken 2 began, Richard Williams was killed, never discovered by whom and how. But Nina accuses Anna of the liquidation and vice-versa.

In Tekken 2, Nina was assigned to kill Kazuya Mishima but was interrupted by Anna. She was captured by the Mishima Corp. after failing to assassinate him and was used as a test subject in the "cold sleep" project by Dr. Boskonovich. Anna Williams also was put in cryogenic sleep, but voluntarily, and asked to be waken at the same time as Nina. During the 19 years of experimentation, Nina was impregnated through in-vitro fertilization and gave birth to a boy.

In Tekken 3, Nina is woken up from her cryogenic sleep and has the result of total memory loss. During Tekken 3, she was controlled by the "God of Fighting's spell" and while possessed ordered to kill Jin Kazama, Heihachi's grandson and Kazuya's son. Anna worked intensively with Boskonovich to bring her sister's memories back, however the project was unsuccessful.

Tekken 4 was the first game that Nina was not assigned to kill a member of the Mishima clan. Instead, she had to kill Steve Fox, her own son from when she was frozen. She discovered all this during the tournament. When it came time for Nina to kill her son, she could not do it. For some strange reason, Fox recognized Nina as his mother and decided to help her escape from detective Lei Wulong.

In Tekken 5, Nina comes face to face with Anna once again and they have an all out brawl. Nina decided that it was time she re-discovered her lost memories and came to the conclusion that the only person who could help her was her sister. When the two met up, Nina's memories came rushing back, and they rapidly engaged in a gun battle. The duel lasted for days and the two later agreed to meet at the next tournament and finish their battle. The two promised that only one would walk away from the coming battle, however Nina refused to take Anna's life as their fight wasn't satisfactory.

In Tekken 6, Nina was approached by Jin Kazama to be his personal bodyguard and enters the tournament to intercept any possible threat to him.

Personality

Nina is generally a very cold, focused and ruthless person. She does not smile much and her sense of humor is limited to her torturing of Anna. She is a loner and this is reflected in both her assasination gig and personal lifestyle. Despite all of this, she seems to have a weakness for her son, Steve Fox. Despite the fact that she had a lock on him and could have killed him with one shot, she decided not to do so.
