Ninety-Nine Nights II looks to have a release date of June 29th in Japan and North America (not sure of other regions). Well, that certainly snuck up on me, but I really enjoyed the first game so I'll be picking up this title as well.

Judging from the official web site at Konami, it doesn't appear that any of the original characters will be returning. This is a shame as I really liked using Inphyy and Tyurru. There is a demo out not on the Xbox Live Marketplace to try out. From the demo the game seems much darker than the first game, with more blood as well as dismemberment of body parts; after which I would impale the dead soldier on my sword and swing him around.
