Why don't many people have this game?

I love it, and so do the critics. What up with this lack of sales?

It may be that people seem intimidated by the series and want more casual type games for the DS. I really don't know...Also I saw a lot of used copies surface soon after the release. I haven't tried the game yet, but I plan to as some point.

Simple Pirates>Ninjas

No one wants a ninja game.

I got it from a friend who bought it and hated it. I like it.

Because DS isn't suited for that sort of game.

The DS definitely was suited for this type of game, it works like a charm.
I don't know why it didn't really succeed in sales; I'm going to guess that it intimidated the casual crowd, which makes up a large portion of DS owners.. It's still on the Download Service though, which is good; it hasn't slowed down in sales, for what its worth.

ive been looking into getting it for awhile now.  its only £20 in the uk at the mo.  just needed to check with my fellow bombers that its worth a purchase.

the transition from full console to handheld more than likely put alot of people off the game.  On the console versions the visuals and speed were major parts of the game and although they translate really well onto the ds, i think people would rather see a ninja gaiden game full screen.
