I never played the first two Ninja Gaiden games, all that I herd was that they were very difficult but good. And I can say that this is how I would describe Ninja Gaiden III. I really enjoyed the game and it's style but it was really hard. The game is still a solid and impressive action game from the NES era, but it's also a game that missed out on capitalizing on its early potential.
