Ninja Theory, formerly known as Just Add Monsters, was established in November of 2004 in Cambridge, England by Nina Kristensen and Mike Ball. Heavenly Sword, a PS3 exclusive, is an action-adventure game they released in 2007 and is probably the game they are most known for. They developed a new IP titled Enslaved in collaboration with Namco Bandai, which was released in October, 2010.

Ninja Theory's next project is a reboot to the Capcom's Devil May Cry franchise as DmC Devil May Cry scheduled for release in January 2013.
