is your thumb allways slipping, on the smooth surface of the Circle Pad nub? Here's the solution: Glue a piece of sandpaper unto your 3DS Circle Pad nub.

Seems like a rather stupid modification to make to your Nintendo 3DS. This will void your warranty, cannot be undone, will kill any resale value of the device, and ruin the look of the device/circle pad.

So what? You just scratched up the circle pad? The video doesn't actually show very much.

EDIT: Ah just saw the title of the youtube video, sandpaper.

Read the description. It's a glued on piece of sandpaper. Likely not hard to remove so it's not the huge negative you're making it out to be.

Then again, if OP had actually provided a description instead of youtube spam maybe no one would be confused....

@Vitor: Here is the description I put on youtube:

Glueing a piece of sandpaper(P: 150) unto the smooth concave nub of the Circle Pad, ensures your finger will never slip. This means you won't have to push the edge of the nub when its surface becomes slippery from the sweat of your thumb.

You should edit your original post and add this text, it will help a lot of people to understand better.

Thankyou very much for your constructive criticism.

    1. I don't plan to use my warranty.

    2. This works so there's no reason for it to be undone.

    3. It's glued with some hobby glue from a tube so you can probably take it of if you needed to.

    4. I don't plan to resell my 3DS.

    5. I didn't buy my 3DS to look at it.

Or get better at using a simple device without needing to add sandpaper to it.

Don't spout your "gamer skillz." Just ignore people trolling you. There's no way to win that fight.

@WilltheMagicAsian: aren't they the only sticks/nubs without any sort of grid carved in to them? 360 got soft concave ones but atleast they have four raised points and dualshocks are bulging as opposed to concave. I think psp is the closest to 3DS nub but that has a grip on it as far as I remember..
