Is it something you'd whip out in public? I'm currently debating which one to get. Zelda Gold or something the stands out less (black/black)

If you're debating whether to jump on that deal that gets you the Zelda 3DS XL for $150, I say who cares because that's a great price if you like Zelda games. Personally I dislike gold anything, but it wouldn't stop me from getting that XL. In fact, I would've liked it better if they had kept it consistently gold on the whole 3DS.

I think it's the worst 3DS XL color currently available.

I'm not a fan. I much prefer the black with gold etchings that they did for the Ocarina remake.

I'm more than likely getting a 3DS soon, and the black/black is probably the one I'll buy.

If it was black with some subtle gold etching then that might have been better? Maybe? With that much gold showing I just do not like it at all.

Huh, that's lame. Seemed to good to be true, ah well.

That's still cheaper then buying another bundle + the game. Still a fantastic deal.

Wait, are you sure? Because I just checked and found this tweet by Nintendo of America and Target confirming the $150 price that I heard about. Again, if you're thinking about it, jump on it if you live in the U.S.

It seems similar to the Skyward Sword Wii remote gold. I like the design, but the plastic they use for th XL has always made the system feel like a toy.

@negativecero: Yeah I ended up seeing that. This deal has flip flopped so much I don't know what to believe.
