Why, gawd? Why couldn't they just have built a 2nd circle pad into the 3DS in the first place? It looks so cumbersome.
you know all it would have taken is the stick and some wires. It's not like there's so much extra circuitry that they can't fit it all in the 3ds
And people will buy this like the good little sheep they are. Brand loyalty is stupid.
I don't understand. Do you perhaps have an image of it... slanted?
And THATS how you compete with the growing mobile phone gaming biz.
There is no sigh large enough to describe my feelings about this and Nintendo as a whole.
The reason for why MC Hammer is being questioned about the new Nintendo device is still unknown to date, but nevertheless, MC Hammer said "It's great. I can take it anywhere, I love it." When asked about good games he could play with his new Circle Pad Pro, MC Hammer refused to comment. However, to the claims that MC Hammer was solo on praising the new devices he had a response "You just wait for it. I may even do a TV commercial with it. It's going to be real big". In yet another sad attempt to remember the general public why the name MC Hammer means something more than a gun in Borderlands 2, he ended his statement with "Everyone can touch the 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro!".

There, I made a news article for you @patrickklepek
I'm curious, how big is that thing compared to a Vita?
Looks like one of the first ever made laptops.
Great? How many games actually use that thing at this point 4? 5?
That's two Essential peripherals in a row hammered home by the GB team, can Brad take it home with a third?
@MildMolasses: I don't know how to use the internet.

Fits in my pocket!
Can I borrow your size good lord you're fat jeans so I can fit that monster into my pocket too?!?!?
I still can't fathom who this ridiculous contraption is for. The only game that really demands it is MGS3 and it's a horribly gimped version of that game in general anyway (get the Vita or PS3/360 version...seriously) and Resident Evil is 100% comfortable without it even if it makes it a bit more controllable. The 3DS really doesn't need a second stick - it's not required for the kind of games that really thrive on Nintendo's handhelds.

You forgot Monster Hunter. They pretty much made it for that.
I love nintendo, I really do, but their strategy for handhelds can be a little ridiculous at times.
That...thing thrown through a brick wall? WILL vaporize said wall.

Yeah, but even then the PSP versions sold craploads without a second stick and people seemed to love those. Not saying it's not nice to have another one, but seriously...this is quite possibly the weirdest way to handle this peripheral.
