The pokemon section already got some awesome art. I'm loving this.

Because I have a US 3DS and a European WiiU I doubt I'd be able to link them together anyway. So that's a bummer.

Hopefully this helps in attracting the 3DS crowd to consider a Wii U, and hopefully Nintendo implement a cross-buy system and perhaps start releasing HD versions of their 3DS eShop exclusives for the WiiU.

It partially serves the same purpose of Swapnote, but it's hard to say if they would have continued support of it with the launch of Miiverse regardless of the incidents that led them to shut Swapnote down.

@crithon: Things like that tend to get moderated quickly. And Miiverse or not, it's still the internet.

I set it up and it's pretty cool. How do I take/post screenshots from games though? I only know how to do that from Animal Crossing because it's a built-in feature in that game.

@mormonwarrior: While playing a game with a Miiverse community, press Home, and open Miiverse from the menu. When you create a new post, you can attach a screenshot of whatever is currently displayed on the top or bottom screen. Then you can exit Miiverse and continue on with your game.

That seems kinda clunky. Taking an in-the-moment screenshot seems tough in that case...I guess I'd have to hit the home button right when something happens? I'll mess with it later.

@mormonwarrior: No problem. The way Miiverse screenshots work is actually not that different from how they work on the Wii U.

Really Quick Question: Does this mean your purchases are now tied to your Nintendo Network ID account now instead of your physical 3DS? I really want to purchase Pokémon Y but I am scared to buy digital games on the service due to this issue.

There are only fourteen or so games with Miiverse communities, last I checked. I don't know of any list, so your only way to really tell is to go into Miiverse while playing one of those games and seeing if the option presents itself when you create a new post.
