From what I could gather the touchscreen on the 3DS doesn't seem to be multitouch, has this been confirmed? Also are there any specs of what the touchscreen is capable of, i.e. has it been improved since the NintendoDS or is it basically the same? Top screen has no touch at all as far as I understand.

Another thing, in the whole handy world gorilla glass and all that other unscratchable stuff seems to be pretty popular, will the 3DS be equally robust or just as easy to scratch as a classic DS?

Since it uses styli, I doubt it will have any kind of multitouch support.

It's not multitouch. Infact, I'm pretty sure it's the same exact touchscreen used on the DS.

Maybe, but multi-touch means simultaneousness input. They didn't say that explicitly.

Well if it is multi-touch it hasn't been mentioned, so its probably not.
