Has anyone found any roundup articles anywhere citing what they thought might be the must have titles for the 3DS? I'd like to get at least one, but just looking at the list I'm not seeing anything striking other than maybe Rayman 3D and Super Street Fighter 3D (which I don't think I want). I figured I would just keep playing Okamiden through there, but I don't know. Thanks in advance for any help or information.

"Must Buy" 3DS Launch Titles?
Pilotwings should be great but unfortunately suffers from mostly being recycled content from Wii Sports Resort and is apparently very short.
Street Fighter is good, if you haven't played any of the other versions recently released and ditto for Ridge Racer, if you aren't already sick of that franchise.
I'd say the best launch title is Lego Star Wars III. Fun gameplay, great multiplayer and a ridiculous amount of unlockables. Only problem there is that there's better versions coming out for other systems.
Have Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition coming with my 3DS order, seems to be the best launch title. Was tempted by Pro Evolution Soccer but that franchise as gone downhill fast and hasn't looked to good. Not sure if it's a launch game in any other regions (it's not in Europe) but that Resident Evil game looked like fun.
But yes, it's what comes out in the coming year that sounds more exciting.
Launch titles? I'll be playing Okamiden on my 3DS, thank you very much. Street Fighter seems to be reliant on the online service not sucking, and I'm not confident about that. I might get Rayman though, because I've somehow managed to never play a Rayman game before.
" Well, my tax return came in and it won't be any cheaper 2 months from now so I am getting it one way or another. I will probably pick up Rayman 2 and maybe a points card. The regular DS shop will be active, just not the virtual console titles right? "No, the Shop won't be there at all until May, so we're not even getting Mario Land or Link's Awakening for launch.
I considered just waiting a few months and picking one up when the better games come out, but chances are the things will be difficult to get a hold of by then.. I just plan on playing Dragon Quest VI, Pokemon White and Radiant Historia on mine.
Theres no real must buy tittles for me with the 3DS, I only had enough money so went with Pilotwings. But if I bought a 3DS in like a few months, I would not get any of these games, (Street Fighters not really my thing). But yeah not the best launch lineup, theres not a Twilight Princess in the bunch!
" So the shop in general won't be avaliable at all until May? So no dsi ware stuff? I was under the impression that the VC style titles and new 3dsware stuff would have to wait until May. "All online shop functionality, as well as the web browser and the DSi transfer system will be available in May, at least as currently scheduled.
It's all about your taste in games. For me I'm getting Pilotwings Resort, Ridge Racer 3D, and Super Monkey Ball 3D on launch. If you like the type of games I mentioned, then give them a shot.
Dude Super Friggin Monkey Ball is a must get. Plus, within like a month of release you have Mario Kart (dude.), Animal Crossing (hours and hours of playtime there) and PAPER MARIO. I can only imagine how badly my eyes will bleed at the sheer awesomeness of the combination of a 3D world, 2D sprites and an actual 3D screen.
All of those easily justify me spending £197 in Tescos. Plus I get a game for a tenner, so that's win too.
I was looking at the dates of release and it seems even the store I work at doesn't have dates for a lot of the games i look forward to most. Super Mario 3D, Paper Mario, Starfox 64, Mario Kart 3D, etc were listed as 8/02 which i have to assume that's a place holder because who in their right mind would release all those games at once.
Anyway, I'm gonna pick up Samurai Warriors (Loved the PS2 versions when i was younger) and Rayman 3D ( which I hear is a great game though I never played it. )
Pretty sure those 2 games can hold me over until the online function opens up. Then I can get on board the download express.
I Wasnt that botherd about the 3ds untill a few weeks ago.
Ive pre orderd the black 3ds and 7 games :-
Pilot wings
Super street fighter
Ridge racer
Rayman
nintendogs
super monkey ball
Was getting dead or alive before it was pushed back.
I just tryed online bingo over the weekend and won a little bit of money so i might get a couple more games too :P
Are any of the tom clancy games supposed to be good ?
Yeah i'm with everyone saying the launch line up is not very impressive. there is Pilot wings but i don't know if i would buy that at full price. For me i was in the market for a new DS anyway (lost old one) so i already have a few DS games lined up to play so i most likely will be playing that until more games come. I'm waiting on the SMT devil survivor over clocked since i missed out on it before.
I've literally been waiting on the 3DS as my DS Lite has been on the brink for a while and finally broke completely a few weeks back. kind of treating it as an upgrade, considered getting an XL instead even. So for now I'm just catching up on some DS games I haven't been able to enjoy properly/new pokemon. the first 3DS title I actually get will probably be OoT. Thought I better pre order as I'm not sure how easily these things are going to be to get hold of in the next few months, knowing nintendo is super slow at shipping hardware usually.
