Just saw it in the press event.  This gives the epic win and confirmed millions of sales.  Movie trailers, and later down the road movies too in 3d too.   
 
So, yeah...looks like I'm getting it now as I live in a city that has city-wide Wifi.  >.>

City Wide wi-fi? where the heck do you live? Best we get is "select" metro busses have wi-fi, and its slow as shit. I tried streaming netflix on it once and it was terrible.

The top screen is 400x240. Well, 800x240 technically, but that's for the 3D-ness. "

Wow, that is sick. I wonder if it can play 3D movies in 3D or they won't try to get it to do that. It can use a real wireless security setting right?

I still don't understand how people can watch movies on such a small screen. I struggle to watch them on my laptop and it's a 15.6 inch screen.

For those of you that don't know, it wont be there on launch.  It will come out sometime this summer.  If you want a 3DS, it's still best to buy one on day one since they will most likely be hard to find after launch.

Netflix on 3DS will apparently be able to interact with Netflix on Wii.  As in you can start watching something on your 3DS and then transfer the stream to your Wii when you get home.

Ya, why would we buy a gaming device for games anyway, right?

I can't keep my head still enough well driving my car to watch Netflix in 3d... so I don't really care.

I'm not touching the first 3DS model, I'll wait for the inevitable 3DS lite, especially considering this new screen tech, it's pretty much certain that the screen will see major improvements on the lite model.

Let's not get the idea that Netflix will be streaming 3d movies, seems there may be some confusion.

What the fuck is the big deal? Netflix is already available on plenty of mobile platforms, not to mention all the iDevices which boast a much better screen resolution than the 3DS. Oh wait, right, this is Nintendo, the other Apple.

dude.... you'd want to watch movie's on a DS?  Why?  The resolution will be horrible.

Eh, the screen's not as good as my phone or my iPad, so this is kindof a wash.
