At first I had black screen of death, exchanged for a new unit. Black screen fixed, but now I have a squeaky d-pad. So annoying when playing ssf4.  Anyone else having this issue? Do these sorts of things stop squeaking after a bit of use? or am I looking at another exchange and new friend code u_u

WOW i thought i was just me heh

I was so close in getting a exchange because the squeaky noises was a right pain in the ass, this was a couple of days ago

Now? it seems to have fixed itself, which is good, my suggestion is keep playing, ignore the sound and it 'should' go away

Mine hasn't squeaked all week until today, after I picked up SSFIV3D.  It isn't super loud or anything, so I've been able to mostly ignore it.  Would be nice if it eventually went away though.

No squeak here. Then again judging from the layout, this handheld was never ever meant to support fighting games like SF.

    Good thing I don't use the d-pad.

It's in a super fucking awkward place.

Exactly. They should have placed the face buttons vertically half-way between the slider and d-pad so you could use either comfortably.

Mines fine. I suggest a little squirt of WD-40, wiping away all excess fluid.

I just wanna say that d-pad is awful. It's tiny as hell and super clicky. Doesn't even feel like a proper gaming d-pad...
