Top Games for 3DS

Simple question, what are the best games available for the 3DS right now?

Coming up on a period where I'll be having a bunch of free time and I'm gonna get down to playing some games, sow hat would you say are the games that absolutely should be played for the system?

Kid Icarus is great in small chunks. It's perhaps the only game to make me laugh this year.

Mario 3D Land is the best game on the system at the moment. Hopefully some of the new stuff coming out can match it.

Super Mario 3D Land

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy

Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask

And, this is early but, so far, Paper Mario: Sticker Star.

Resident Evil Revelations and Mario 3D Land are by far my favorites.
Mighty Switch Force and Pushblox / Crashblox are great eshop titles too.

If you're into a visual novel/puzzle type of game, Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward is awesome. Though, I would recommend playing 999 first, since Zero Escape is a direct sequel.

Pushmo, Mario 3D Land, and Kid Icarus!

Super Mario 3D Land, Ocarina and Starfox 3D, and Mario Kart 7.

I am finally getting around to beating it and I really love the game. It is my first time through Ocarina and I see why people love it.

Looking around for stuff myself, since I just got a 3ds (first nintendo console or handheld since the original gameboy)

So far I've bought mario 3d land and the Zelda remake and I'm planning on getting pushmo and all of the ace attorney and professor Layton games I can, but other than that I'm unsure.

Mario 3D Land is a blast, it's a bit on the short side and if you've played went for 100% in either of the Galaxy games you might find it a bit on the easy side until close to the 75% mark but it's so damn fun. I feel like I'm cheating sometimes by wearing tanooki suit but at the same time it's almost something you need. I hear Pushmo is a great game, something I've been meaning to check out so I'll probably grab that. Does anyone know how necessary Professor Latyon & the Last Specter/Professor Layton & the Eternal Diva are to enjoying Miracle Mask? Depending on the answer this game would be another definite recommend. I would also say get Mario Kart 7 but every Nintendo handheld I've owned has had the shoulder buttons crap out because of Mario Kart and other shoulder mashy games....

I may be in the minority but I'm having a blast with Paper Mario: Sticker Star...I understand Brads gripes with there being no need to fight...but I do it anyways(actively seeking out fights) just because every sticker feels like a special "skill" and the animations are funny and well done. To a way lesser extent if you enjoy 2D Mario Id say get the DS one first but I'm still finding some fun in New Super Mario Bros. 2 ...maybe cause I got it with my system and I love 2D Mario. I paid only $100 for both the system and NSMB2. Orcarina is a wonderful game regardless of platform and if you haven't played, pick that one up.

you should probably look for a copy of Zero Escape.

I haven't played it myself yet but supposedly it's better than its predecessor 999, and that game was fucking great
