while playing legend of zelda  on my ds  i droped  my ds on hard wood flooring and part of the hinge broke off  the ds still works  both screens are fully functional  only a peace of the hinge has come of. i want to re attach it but cant think of how to do it if i super glue it it will stay perminently open/closed does any one have any advice on fixing it?

take a picture of it, post it, so we have a better idea what ur talking about

after thinking it, Super glue will work, but it will run the risk it being stuck open/close. rubber cement is also can work, good thing about it, if doesn't u can rub it off.

it seems if you dont glue the sides you should have no trouble. i think Super glue is ur best bet. how i would do it is get some paper, and something thin like a needle.  put some glue on the paper, Super Glue doesn't glue paper, with the needle get some and apply it to were you need to. This is mainly so it looks clean the repair.
