    I turned my DSi on for the first time in a few months last week, but couldn't bring myself to actually play anything on it. 
     
    The reason? 
     
    The awful resolution, I feel like I've been completely spoiled by my iPhone 4 
     Hopefully I have a better experience with the 3ds.  Anyone else turned off by the dated look of DS games?

    No. I can deal with the graphics. It's the price of Iphone games that have ruined the DS for me.

    I avoid this problem by using a regular cellphone and not playing glorified flash games. 
     
    Its surprisingly easy.

    Glorified flash games?  That's probably fair in most cases, but I was able to download the full version of Phoenix Wright on the app store for only a buck.

    I could make an argument that its a port of a DS game that was a port of a GBA game that was released 10 years ago, but I personally love the AA series so I'll just say that's a great price for a great game. I still don't want to play it on a phone.

    Oh, come one. The games on the DS are much more complex and satisfying than the majority of iphone games. They're usually worth the price.

    the iPhone not having buttons ruins it for me. Sure it works for some games like Plants vs Zombies, but stuff like tetris and Street Fighter just need physical buttons/sticks.

    I assume you are referring to the HD remix of Pheonix Wright that everyone isn't talking about, but you raise a very good point.

    The DS may not be a graphical powerhouse but that's not what I turn too it for, the resolution has never bothered me.

    @the_OFFICIAL_jAPanese_teaBAG: I really hope it's awesome, I'll probably end up buying one regardless.  Still a bit skeptical about the 3D stuff, and the two different screen sizes looks a bit hideous.  I think I'll get the aqua color to top off the ridiculous aesthetic of that system.

    @JonBot: the 3d is actually find.  i dunno if its cause the lady there (yeah there were people from nintendo supervising the booth) only allowed each person to play for only 10 minutes but the 3d didnt make my dizzy at all.  i thought it was actually pretty cool.  yeah im not sure ill buy one at launch but ill definately get one the next time i go to japan when theres at least a 50 dollar price drop and different colours

    iPhone is the future - stick with it. It'll be amazing by the time the 5th/6th generation comes out.

    I have an Android phone and just play games on the DS or PSP. As much as I want to say that cell-phone gaming has advanced, I found that I stopped using my iPod touch for games once the Android phone came in, and I just end up playing on the PSP anyway.
