Square Enix has confirmed more Taito classics are on the way for the European DS market sometime in Summer 2009. There are two titles lined up for release, the first of which is Puzzle Bobble Galaxy, a impressive new version of the classic puzzler featuring dino bros Bub and Bob from the 1986 original, whilst Space Invaders Extreme 2 will also be coming, this time exclusively for Nintendo DS, rather than for PSP as well.

I could be down for some Puzzle Bobble.  But you know what I really want?  A new Bubble Bobble.  I loved that game.  So many good memories.

If you mean on DS, there are no plans yet for a new handheld game, however, on WiiWare there is already a new Bubble Bobble game.

That would make sense, guess that those who own a DS are more prone to buy a game that you play for a bit when on the bus for example and then turn off compared to those who own a PSP. Still a shame that fans of the first game who only have a PSP will not be able to play this.

PSP owners don't buy games apparently  :-)

I am only interested in Space Invaders, although I am still to get the first one.
