    Has anyone traded in their DSi XL in the UK? How much did you get for it?

    I'm thinking of buying the new Xbox 360 next month (my current one is a 20GB'er with a broken disk tray that needs to be manually opened every time. Anyone know if it would be possible to trade that in too/how much I'd get?), and need the monies. I haven't played my DSi XL since a few weeks after buying it after realising I have no need for a handheld *sadface*. I have 4 DS games that will be traded too.

    Guesstimates are welcome too.

    So you're trading in a redesign for a redesign?

    o.o
    I think the problem is that you only have 4 games. Have you taken a look at this yet?

    @AgentJ: Well I need a new 360 more than I need a handheld. As I've said, my disk tray is broken and it only has a 20GB hard drive, so seems like the perfect time to upgrade.

    Whatever trade-in price you're going to get, you're better off selling on Gumtree or eBay.

    @Alexander: Really can't be assed doing it that way.

    Surely someone out there has traded one of these things in?!

    Nobody bought one in the first place let alone traded one in.

    I'm not sure about the trade in value but when I worked in a games store we never took back as trade in a faulty console, they have to be resold after all! Things may be different else where. Can't you send it back to be fixed and then trade it in?

    @Erzs: The DSi XL is as good as new. As for my current 360, might try to sell it off to a friend for cheap.

    @Pessh: Yes.
