    The NES, also known as Famicom, launched in 1983 in Japan and 1985 in North America, where the video game industry was headed downhill due to a deluge of poor games and over-saturation. Nintendo's second home console became an enormous success, establishing consoles as a mainstream market in Japan and pulling the North American industry back to its feet.

    Found this interesting video while rummaging around for videogame art, it a old 1Up special looking into the "Famicase Exhibition". a exposition of Famicom cart labels from fictional games created by different artists all over Japan. Some of the designs are pretty cool and should appeal to lovers of retro games. If I find some old Famicom cases I might give this a go myself...
