Poll Will you lick Zelda? (351 votes)
So with the amount of coverage the mouth feel for the Switch cartridges is getting, are you going to be able to resist sticking the thing in your mouth just to see how awful it actually is?

Mouth feel is #1 importance to me. Idk what's wrong with the rest of you heathens. What's the point of vidya games if they don't even taste good?
I'm buying the Wii U version, I'm sure it's fine. I won't be finding out firsthand.
Have you ever licked a Wii U disc?
I assume the switch will be installing Firmware as soon as I launch it, so I'll need to do something.
@hunkulese: Nope.
I bet the WiiU disk, with its smooth edges, would make for great licking material

You will have bought it. Meaning it is your property. This joke is taking a turn for the worse.
I'm more interested in how the game plays than how it tastes, but to answer your question..... maybe?

I could tell you, but it might void your warranty.

Me too, but it is going to be one of the first things I do when I get my hands on a cartridge.
You can either lick and know, or always wonder what it would be like. I know what i would do.
I also hope that licking the cartridge becomes the new 'blow on the cartridge' . I can see some youtubers making clips where they ' magically fix' their cartridges by licking it. Hope it catches on :)
The more i think about it, the more i wonder which taste is both harmless and disgusting to 99% of the people.
Since it's mostly to prevent kids from putting it in their mouth, i assume it's a bitter or sour taste? But you have people that love those flavours.
Why is this a thing? There's so much damn chatter about putting this game in people's mouth. Fahey over at Kotaku just did a bit about it. What am I missing? To be fair I'm not a Zelda fan. I have nothing against Zelda just never really played any of them. Is there some weird Zelda lore that has made salivating on a copy of Zelda a thing?
