This is significantly better than Microsofts conference, and I don't think this conference is anything special.

Interesting, they lost Retro and are having Team Ninja make Metroid now.  Away from 1st person Western style to 3rd person more appealing to Japanese.

Great conference, blew Microsoft out of the water, in my opinion. Admittedly that wasn't at all hard to do.

I think it's also that there was a lot of stuff I expected out of MS that they didn't deliver.  I didn't expect anything out of Nintendo, and they delivered a few interesting things.

It felt like MS was moving away from gamers while Nintendo was trying to move closer.  Even though MS is far closer right now.

So overall my rankings so far : MS = 2/5, EA = 2/5, Ubisoft = 0/5, Nintendo = 3/5

so for me a person who doesnt like mario, zelda, metroid or donkey kong nintendo gives me Golden Sun ds.

Okay, Nintendo's conference kicked ass. Metroid game, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Mario RPG game, and most importantly GOLDEN SUN!

Yeah, a distinct lack of Miyamoto. Solid conference regardless.

As I expected the Nintendo Press Conference would be nothing special, however I am looking forward to another mario RPG and that Metroid game if it turns out alright(I'll see by reviews when it releases) I may have to repurchase a Wii for it.

To me the highlight was definitely Golden Sun DS. But Metroid looks pretty interesting too. Horrible name though. "Metroid: Other M" - What?

I don't understand the hype behind Metroid and Mario, i really just don't care. What is it about those games that draw you guys in? I'm more of a mature gamer, i like my violence, but i also like some lighthearted fun aswell, but these franchises just elude me. I'm interested to see your responses.

Yep. This conference was good enough for me to keep my Wii. But where was Virtual Console on DSi. Or even DSiWare games? I think that Nintendo really missed out on those.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 and new Metroid are absolute 100% total WINS from me. Rest of the conference is irrelevant. They are ALL I needed.

Other than Metroid and Golden Sun, that was an insanely boring reminder of what I already knew was coming out.
