because its the direct succesor to wii

and the last time nintendo released a direct successor was 1991s super nintendo -which went on to out sell the genesis which released well enough ahead of it

the fact that history seams to repeat it self further solidifies that

- theres a reason why snes is still the best console besides wii

its because of these games

5. super mario rpg

7. stunt race fx

9. donkey kong country series

11. super metroid
12. the lion king
13. the mortal kombat series

theres plenty more , but my point is , the minute third party jump aboard wii u - people will realise that it is indeed the system to get ,

just like the super nintendo this thing is a direct succesor and third party has no reason to not support it, they saw what wii did , by suprise they do not want to under estimate nintendo again , they do their stupid , because they will avoid a 100 m userbase of the wii -90 m right now plus the 150 m users of the ds

and so far 6. somthing 3ds users,

nintendo is back and will be in charge next gen

nes- -50 million top of the gen

snes- 60 million top of its gen

nintendo slipped with n64 because well they did not release a system any one would buy - cause of those compact disc thingys, also they named it n64

sony took advantage -- by releasing ps1

which went to sell 106 million

ps2 followed suit with 144 million-vg charts

nintendo then took a play out of sonys book by going cheap less graphical with the wii focusing on controls,

they are once again focusing on that also but they also added gamecube controls and ds controls to an already succesful motion format making wiiU everything in one,

all they need to do is release it at the right price--- which i believe they will,

and get games, like they did with wii 1 and super nes snes and all the handhelds

and yes i did compare it to the super nintendo because no one else can compare to it,

it had all the games we know , and all the classics ,, the only thing the others release is first person shooters and that is not comparable to the super nintendo thank you very much and the wii does have its share of fpses but it also has an asortment of games from every other genre just like the super nintendo and ps2/ps1 more spacific every succesful gaming platform has an assortment of genres, and thats all nintendo needs, they dont need 100 -200 fpses sorry that wont help wii u i hate to spill the guts , but thats what nintendo plans is to not release hundreds of fpses ,

instead they are going to remain the same nintendo we known for years and you know what ,

I'm sure my fellow forum dwellers are going to tear you a new asshole by explaining how consumers in 1991 can't be directly compared to modern ones, so I'll just say this: the Wii U is a stall. Nintendo is out of ideas and they need to wait out the other companies to see what they do first, except they need to get out ahead in order to capture consumer attention. Trust me when I say they'll abandon this bullshit as soon as Microsoft and Sony announce their plans and begin work on something new.
