Didn't see a thread for this, so I figured I would give everyone a heads up. At 2PM PST today, there will be a new Nintendo Direct. Today's Direct is focusing on Wii U and 3DS games coming between the end of this year and Spring 2015.

First Nintendo created Link of the generation appears in a Mario Kart game. Strange times...but honestly, this seems like the best time to jump into a Nintendo console for someone who never has before. Get improved iterations and innovated versions of classic games in shiny new forms.

Xenoblade looked fucking gorgeous! I would love to play majora's mask on my wii u gamepad nintendo....but I might have to get a 3DS lol.

I really hope that Splatoon has sweet controls. That game looks like it could be a blast. Pretty nice stuff from Nintendo all around, these Directs seem to have hit a stride where they are great info dumps.

I'm really worried about Amiibos now. Suits for Mii in Mario Kart 8 isn't exactly the most exciting aspect of collecting a 13 dollar little figure. And the Spinner top for Hyrule Warrior doesn't quite represent what the toys to life concept means. Plus I'm not a fan of the Smash Bros design of the characters and the plastic looks poor from photos.

Wow! Xenoblade looks great, and Splatoon's fat cat design looks amazing. I'm digging Splatoon's design style.
