Nintendo was founded in Kyoto, Japan in 1889 as a manufacturer of hanafuda playing cards. The company went through several small niche businesses before becoming a video game company.
There does not seem to be much new info other than the AUS/NZ (24/11/2014) new nintendo 3DS release date and how the new 3DS 3D works from different angles.
The nice early release date for the New 3DS is great. Stunned to see us getting something earlier than most of the rest of the world. I'm still conflicted because of game releases though. I've been holding off on a 3DS purchase (was going to get one real soon, then they announced the new one) and I was considering importing from America simply because sometimes the wait for a game is fucking ridiculous.
Basically, I want to play Shin Megami Tensei 4 and it's still not out here or in Europe and that is some garbage. Not Nintendo's fault though, to be fair.
They have probably sold me an AU system with that early release.
How did an AUS release date get announced before EU or NA?
If I had to guess, they probably could make enough models to throw a country with a small population a bone, but not enough to release it in a 'real' region like the US or EU.
