Japan & Europe are having a Nintendo Directs tomorrow (or is it today? Timezones confuse me) however Nintendo of America's Twitter feed said they will have "news" at 8:30 pm PST tonight (April 20th for future viewers of this thread). It is unknown at this time if this means America will have their own broadcast or it will just be a string of announcements, but should be exciting regardless.

*hopes for Fire Emblem release in America*
Since you live on the moon, I don't know why you would hope for this
Because I bought a US DS Phat. Also, because Fire Emblem is goddamn awesome, and I hate that the good half of Monshou no Nazo has to resort to a fan translation.
They've just come up with a really good comeback to "Genesis does what Nintendon't".
Nintendis what Genesisn't
Oddly enough, that pretty much was their response at the time. Not oddly enough, it sucked then as much as it does now.
They do this every year don't they? What do people expect to happen?
No, this is supposedly a Nintendo Direct conference. They've been holding these every few months for a while now as a way to make various announcements. Last time, the Japanese conference was also broadcast on Nintendo's European site, while North America had their own presentation.
