    Overview

    NIS America is the North American division of the Japanese game developer and publisher Nippon Ichi Software. The North American office was established in 2003 in order to localize and publish NIS games in the North American region. Prior to its opening, NIS titles were licensed to other publishers for distribution outside of Japan, including Atlus USA.

    In addition to video games, NIS America has branched out into other fields, and also serves as a North American publisher and distributor of anime titles.
