Well, if you don't like the first, don't worry about this one. Just ignore it. I mean, it's gonna be more of the same. Fixed glitches here, more content there, nicer overworld further there, but pretty much the same premise. It's No More Heroes. And I FUCKING LOVE IT :D~

You cannot seriously think that the level design of NMH was anything but awful, and that the whole premise requires and demands a lot less repetition than was present in the first one? It's not that I don't like the first, it's just so unbelievably appearant what needs to be done if there was a sequel. Like Assassin's Creed. With the exception of the dual lasers, everything from that trailer could've been a scene from the first game.
Excuse me for wanting more from a sequel than just a mission pack. : /

    Also, MotionPlus?

No M Plus as far as I know. Don't think it needs it either, the finishers and grapple moves work fine without. And they're not about to make the combat fully motion based. Don't know how you can decontruct specific elements of No More Heroes into something bad, I thought that as a whole it was a great game with only the overworld sticking out like a sore thumb, which they're reportedly improving for this sequel. Besides that, a "mission pack" could fix level design too. It's levels after all. I don't know what kind of scene would show the improvements you want even if they're there really. All I can think is some fly-by in the overworld that shows more detais and stuff happening, but even then it wouldn't be that much of a difference in a short glimpse. Other than that, it's got the bosses, the weapons, the crazy story and characters, the music, so, day 1.

There are few flaws in the original, the frame-rate in the over-world sections, and the over-world being far too sparse for certain gamers -those who have been raised on the likes of GTA. Everything else was a conscious design decision and a political statement from Suda.  He does not give a f*** about graphics or having mundane gameplay, which the original had. The gameplay in certain sections of the original was intended to be mundane, he wanted players to feel a genuine response of work being shit, because that's in the the spirit of punk, and "Punk Lives" in NMH.

The voice actress for Sylvia is new, but she's just as annoying, so all is good.

I could NOT be more excited. This looks like it's going to be deeper than the first one, which is a HUGE plus! But since you'll be fighting very low-ranked assassins in this one, i hope he can keep the boss fights fresh (you start out fighting the 50th ranked)

The end of that trailer made it for me.

Hopefully the game has a bigger budget behind it to up the scale and production values a bit, but it already seems to have the heart of NMH which is most important.

I nearly fell out of my seat because my mind could not contain the awesomeness that was in the trailer.

This game is just adding and expanding more on the game, dual wielding weapons, and even more absurdity. Plus, the ending was just goddamn PERFECT.

In certain scenes, it looks like Travis is carrying SEVERAL beam katanas, all hanging from his belt. Perhaps this time we can actually switch between different types on the fly, and end up with different moves and abilities that actually affect playing style.

Some stuff from a Jap website, posting it here because a lot, if not all of it, has been shown before. I think it says something about them adding lots of breakable objects in the levels or something along those lines... Other than that, it's nothing we haven't read before... I think...

It's a great place to show it, PAX or Comic Con are ideal I think.
