Any chance you could post some of the losing posters?  Seems like you had some pretty great entries.

Looks really cool. I may buy it.

#53 Posted by Legend (2599 posts) -
@I_smell How many hours would you say it would take me to beat it?
#54 Posted by Vodun (2365 posts) -

Seen that trailer and I think it looks really cool. Totally hate that type of game but I might give this one a whirl.

I contributed on kickstarter after you made that one topic about it, just waiting for the mac version bro.

EDIT: Woops, didn't see the email announcing the mac version, will give it a try after work today.

Congrats on getting the game out. The moment I saw the first video you released I knew it would be a cool game.

#57 Posted by guiseppe (2833 posts) -

Grats, man. Looks cool, but I'll probably never play it.

#58 Posted by KillyDarko (1888 posts) -

Congrats on the release, dude!

Dude, I saw your box art on Reddit a month or so ago and went nuts. Absolutely love the box art. The game looks really cool, too. I played your early build way back last year or whenever that was. It was obviously an early build, but there was tons of potential. Like the humor, too. I'll pick up your game when I get my student loan checks :P

edit Oh, a question: How long, from start to finish, did it take you guys to release it? Another: How's it feel to finally release a game? (assuming this is your first).

#60 Posted by Seedofpower (3909 posts) -

Oh man I can't stop laughing at the guy's little dance.

#61 Posted by RobertOrri (1088 posts) -

Looks neat!

#62 Posted by scarace360 (4828 posts) -

When or if it goes on steam ill buy it. AND PUT TF2 HATS WITH IT!

#63 Posted by Nadafinga (953 posts) -

Great title for a game. And "My ribs are in my eyes" made me bust up laughing. The game looks like it is legitimately funny, hope it's also fun to play. Will try to check it out soon.

About 6 months. I hope that gives you guys a good idea of what to expect, we really didn't wanna kill ourselves like Team Meat or Jon Blow on our first game. The next batch (of about a hundred levels) will be out in like 4 more months.

I've made a tonne o web games since I was in school, but this is my first game that people are actually buying, and that I actually need to make money on. For about the whole week before/after the game came out, I was stressed AS FUCK because people were getting glitches, some people were really excited before it came out, the mac version was impossible to get working, my parents are ALWAYS on my back askin for how much money I've made etc.

and the outcome of this game, more than any other, is a judgement of whether or not I've bin wasting my time all year. So the whole time around when the game gets finished is a total blizzard, but we start opening it up to distributors n start advertising this week, so hopefully I'll see people actually giving a shit n I can get to sleep again.

SPEAKING OF WHICH: Alex just announced our affiliates program where you get HALF OF OUR SALES if you ever feel like tellin your friends to buy our game. Your "friends" could be 2 people or 200 people, so go nuts! Shit is downright BANANAS!

#71 Posted by TheHT (10296 posts) -

#72 Posted by sergeantz (134 posts) -

Seriously, congratulations. One of my long-term-speck-in-the-distance goals is to make a game, but it seems like such a daunting task. For you to have done it is really incredible.

#73 Posted by Maajin (1039 posts) -

It truly shocks me that no one noticed that the song is a Top Gear remix, it seems no one in the US played or remembers that game. Great soundtrack.

You should write for the wiki on your game here on this wiki site about video games.

#75 Posted by Belonpopo (1823 posts) -
@I_smell: I found a torrent for your game here.
#76 Posted by Vinny (1526 posts) -

I dunno, it's more fun from my point o view to see other people fill it in.

Of course the whole reason I made this game is to get the Pimp My Profile quest on Giantbomb. Boy is it working.

#78 Posted by Evilsbane (4348 posts) -

@I_smell: Whenever I pull myself from Deus Ex ill give this a try, trailer was hilarious! I AM YOU FROM THE FUTURE! If you did the voice yourself amazing work.

#79 Posted by skittles (156 posts) -

Hey duder, just posting here to let you know I purchased the game last night. I only played for a little while last night, but I'm really enjoying it. I'll probably finish it tonight.

I began writing some brief thoughts about it just then, but it started turning into a rant. I might actually do a community review it in the next few days and jot down all my thoughts.

Whoops! Gotta go to lunch.

#80 Posted by ImaLizard (72 posts) -

Yes yes this is all well and good but WHAT ABOUT EXCLUSIVE E-TAILER CONTENT?

Steam-obviously, tf2 hats
D2D-A COPY OF STEAM THAT INCLUDES THE GAME, THINK ABOUT IT

FEEL FREE to rant about this game. There's loads of stuff I could rant about myself, I'm sure you won't come up with anythin I haven't heard before.

#82 Posted by Jasta (2217 posts) -

Just bought it, I'll try give a bit of feedback when I'm finished.

#83 Posted by Mars_Cleric (1587 posts) -

congrats mate

this looks pretty cool

might have to look into getting it next pay day

#84 Posted by Hugh_Jazz (327 posts) -

What's the word on the soundtrack for this? Can't wait to get my hands on it.

As for the game, I'm having a lot of fun with it, but mostly I'm waiting for true fullscreen and controller support so I can start having No Time To Explain parties on the couch, pass-the-controller style, like SMB when that came out. Also, an easier, more traditional level selection menu would be really nice.

The UI, stability and polish leave a bit to be desired, but if the humour and gameplay idea that comes through in the trailer appeals to you, I'd say it's well worth the money.

#85 Posted by MaFoLu (1854 posts) -

Now fill out the wiki-page with all the details of this game!

Also, congratulations, hope it makes as much money as Minecraft.

#86 Posted by Rolyatkcinmai (2661 posts) -

I was one of the funders on the Kickstarter for this game, but did not realize it was a Giant Bomb member. Cool.

#87 Posted by klaybuilder (15 posts) -

Looks really good, probably gonna buy it once I get paid. The fact that it's on Linux too makes me so happy :3

#88 Posted by Jeffsekai (7017 posts) -

Holy cow that's so cool! if I had some extra money I would deff buy it.

#89 Posted by TwoLines (2762 posts) -

Man, that's awesome. Now, if only I had some dough...

#90 Posted by Flaboere (344 posts) -

I couldn't find the price anywhere? Maybe you could post in in your first post here?

#91 Posted by eccentrix (1428 posts) -

This post makes me want to invest in this "company".

#92 Posted by TheSouthernDandy (3629 posts) -
