Ōkamiden: Chisaki Taiyo ("Okamiden: The Small Sun") is the sequel to 2006's Ōkami for the PlayStation 2 and Wii. Ōkamiden is set a few months after the events of the first game, the demons have returned and it's up to Chibiterasu (the child of the first game's protagonist, Amaterasu) to stop it.
Assisting Chibiterasu in this endeavor is, Kuninushi, the son of the swordsman, Susano, as well as many other companions that have yet to be revealed.
One new addition is the partner system, which, apparently, will add an element of teamwork to the game, as Chibiterasu will have to work with them in order to progress onward.
For example, in order to cross a rigid platform, the player must draw a line from Chibiterasu to the other side of the platform to step on a switch, thereby causing another one to appear that when pressed, causes a bridge that both characters can cross to appear. According to the developers, this type of gameplay will be a core part of game.
Developed for the Nintendo DS, Ōkamiden is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Ōkami. Return to the land of Nippon as the adorably pint-sized, yet still powerful Chibiterasu.

Story
Ōkamiden picks up a few months after first game, and the heretofore peaceful land of Nippon has, once again, fallen into chaos at the hands of demons. Here to rescue Nippon and its citizens is, Cibiterasu, whom is essentially a smaller, cuter version of Amaterasu, and has appeared in place of his (her?) mother, Amaterasu, who had saved Nippon previously.Assisting Chibiterasu in this endeavor is, Kuninushi, the son of the swordsman, Susano, as well as many other companions that have yet to be revealed.
Gameplay
Gameplay is pretty much the same as its predecessor. You'll be traveling around the land of Nippon, fighting demons, and solving various puzzles with the help of the Celestial Brush, running around towns and villages talking to their residents,and just generally exploring.One new addition is the partner system, which, apparently, will add an element of teamwork to the game, as Chibiterasu will have to work with them in order to progress onward.
